James Andrew Blackwood, 103, of Marshall, died Wednesday, May 16 (2018) at Highland Court in Marshall.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. preceding the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith.

The son of Archie Blackwood and Nora Manuel Blackwood was born Aug. 7, 1914, at Searcy County. He was the husband of the late Rutha Edna Prewett Blackwood.

Rutha
December 1, 1924 - October 29, 2007

Rutha Edna Blackwood, age 85, passed away on October 29, 2007 at Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home. She was born on December 1, 1921 to Ed and Emma (House) Prewett in Marshall, Arkansas.

Rutha loved quilting and fishing. She was a very special lady and loved by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Wilma Norma George, three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by husband James of Marshall, on brother Lloyd Prewett of Dilly, Texas and one grandson Herman George Jr.

Visitation will be from 6—8 pm Wednesday October 31, 2007 at Roller-Coffman Chapel.

Service will be 10:00 am Thursday November 1,2007 at Roller-Coffman Chapel.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
