Lizann "Liz" Bannister, 49, of Springdale died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at Earlene Howard Hospice House. She was born June 24, 1957, in Springdale to Melton and Joan Wilson Phillips.
Liz worked at JCPenney and enjoyed horses and horseback riding.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Bannister of the home, to whom she was married June 16, 1983; one son, Zachary Bannister of the home; her father, Melton Phillips of Springdale; her mother, Joan Mundine of Fayetteville; four sisters, Delcinda Root of Fayetteville, Amy Lawson of Springdale, La Joice Phillips of Newport and Shiloh Hawkins of Jacksonville, Fla.; four nephews, Kyle Bowen, Blake Lawson, Rylie Motsinger and Austin Motsinger; six nieces, Savannah Bowers, Casey Vivian Lynn Bowers, Raven Hawkins, Jayleen Hawkins, Ashley Motsinger and Katlynn Lizann Lawson.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Elm Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Holder officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sisco chapel in Springdale.
