Lola Mae Hardin Bedwell, 72, of Arkoma died Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Pocola. She was born Sept. 4, 1931, in Muldrow. She was a homemaker and a member of Arkoma Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church and worked for Wortz Biscuit and Baldor Electric. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Bedwell. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in Putman Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Fort Smith. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Connie Bedwell of Arkoma and Ronnie and Cindy Bedwell of Pocola; a sister, Debra Large of Tacoma, Fla.; six brothers, John Hardin of Muldrow, Harold Hardin of Seattle, Joe Hardin of Sallisaw, Everett Hardin and Russell Hardin, both of Muldrow, and Thelbert Hardin of Roland; four grandchildren, Joanie and Eric Bedwell, Bobby Goodson and Kim McNatt; and three great-grandchildren, Justin and Ashley McNatt and Taylor Goodson. Pallbearers will be John Bedwell, Brian Bedwell, Brian McKey, Cecil Marshall, Bruce Holland and R.C. Rogers.
