September 26, 1920 - May 18, 2009
Thelma Bamburg, 88, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009. She was born September 26, 1920 in Fort Smith to the late Hughler G. and Emma M. Wilson Lamders. She was a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church.
Ms. Bamburg was preceded in death by her husband Ezra L. Bamburg and a son Danny Bamburg.
Ms. Bamburg is survived one daughter Emma Lee Bamburg of Fort Smith, AR, four sons Don Bamburg and wife Carolyn of Greenwood, AR, Ronald Bamburg of Sallisaw, OK, Johnny Ed Bamburg and wife Margaret of Fort Smith, AR and Kenny Dale Perry and wife Tammy of Panola, OK, three sisters Betty Boyster of Fort Smith, AR, Mildred Neil of Borger, TX and Viola Johnson of Memphis, TX and a number of precious grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral service were held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Northside United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Tim Sullivan and Rev. Ron Patrick officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Paul Upchurch, David Terry, T. C. Strawhacker, Jack David, Joe Dunn and Jimmy Dale Bruso.
