Lana Lynn Spaulding Cates, age 51, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in her home Prescott, Arkansas. She was born May 20, 1969 in Prescott to David and Betty Spaulding.
Lana was a 1987 graduate of Arkansas High in Texarkana, Arkansas, a long time Avon Sales Lady, and a Baptist. She had the biggest heart, could talk for hours. She cherished all of her friendships and memories with her children.
Lana is survived by her daughter, Katie N. Cates of Texarkana, Arkansas; her father, David M. Spaulding of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister, Carrie Stinson of Texarkana, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Kim Spaulding of Texarkana, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Christopher D. Guilbeau (Cates) and her mother, Betty L. Collins Spaulding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Split Rail Residential Care Facility in Prescott, Arkansas.
Graveside service will be 10:00am Friday, June 5, 2020 in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas. Bro Gerald Wagstaff will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope.
