Floyd A. Avery was born March 18, 1904 in Batson, Arkansas to Charles Wagner Avery and Washie Tella Edwards Avery.
He departed this life on June 5, 1964 in Fort Smith,Arkansas.

He married Vera E. Fly in 1926 in Crawford County, Arkansas and to this union was born a daughter, Florene Fly.

He was a Carpenter.

Vera
February 15, 1905 - November 17, 1992

Vera Fly Avery was born February 15, 1905 to Levi and Florence Brazell Fly.
She died November 17, 1992 at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, Sebastian, Arkansas.

She married Floyd A. Avery in 1926 and their union was blessed with a daughter, Florene Avery.

She was a homemaker and a member of Wood Memorial Christian Church, she loved antiques.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Floyd A. Avery.

She was survived by her granddaughter, Florence Harlow of Fayetteville; a great granddaughter, Brandi Harlow of Van Buren; and two great-grandsons, Cris Harlow of El Dorado and Mark Harlow of Fayetteville.

Funeral services were held November 20, 1992 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith.
According to the Cemetery manager this is no marker for Vera Avery
