Reba Claborn Agent, 88, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, in Fort Smith. She was born July 25, 1915, in Gans. She was a graduate of Gans High School and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla. She was a longtime educator in Fort Smith at Ramsey Junior High School, where she was a business education teacher and oversaw the school newspaper. She retired in 1980 from Ramsey Junior High School. She was active in the First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith, where she attended the Gleaners Sunday school class. She was a former board member and worker with the YWCA. She was the widow of Woodrow Wilson Agent. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Arkoma under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Agent of San Antonio, Texas; and a sister, Polly Bryan of Tucson, Ariz. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Oklahoma Chapter, 6465 S. Yale St., Tulsa, OK 74136-7804 or First United Methodist Church, Fort Smith.
