Charlotte K. Price was born in Clarksville, Texas she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gilbert. She attended public school in Clarksville. In 1936 she married James M. Price who preceded her in death. She became a member of the Church of God in Christ. She served as President of the Pastor's Aid. She devoted most of her adult life caring for foster children.
