Ora Faye Pool was born in Coal Hill, Arkansas, to the late Rube and Mary Johnson. She was the youngest of eight children and received her education in the Public Schools of Ft. Smith Arkansas. She was married to John Roy Pool on April 24, 1944, and to their union one child was born. She was a member of Mount Zion Christian Methodist Episcopal Church for many years. She retired from First Federal Savings and Loan Association where she was employed as a custodian. Three sisters preceded her in death. Ora Faye died at the Sparks Regional Medical Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. on January 4, 1996.
