Froney
1898 - January 22, 1972
Mrs. Franey McClendon, 74 years old, of 4412 Young, Fort Smith, Arkansas died Saturday, January 22, 1972 in a local nursing home.
A lifelong resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas, she was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Survivors were three sons; three daughters, Mrs. K. Makey, Mrs. D. Surratt and Evelyn; two brothers, Elmer and Harris; and two sisters, Carrie and Mary.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mt. Moriah Church N. H. McGill was the officiating minister. Burial was in Washington Cemetery and was by the Rowell Funeral Home.

Jim McClendon was born March 12, 1937. To Mr.Ed McClendon and Mrs. Fronia (Perry) Mc Clendon. Jim died August 16, 1960. He never married and had no children. He is buried at Washington Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Sebastain County next to his mother, Fronie (Perry) McClendon.
