Glenn spent most of his life in the drilling profession. He started out in the oil fields in west Texas and then in Oklahoma. He went to work for the U.S. Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District inthe late 1940's. He was living in Ozark, AR. at the time and he commuted to various locations where the Corps was building dams on the AR. River and the White River. He retired from the Corps in 1962. He and Julia moved from Jacksonville, AR. to Alma, AR. upon his retirement. Glenn died at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, AR from stomach cancer.

MILITARY: Glenn served with the US Army during WWII, 100th Infantry Division. He was in Germany during the war.
