March 6, 1913 - June 1, 2010
Ray Whittenberg, 97, of Alma, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, in his home. He was born March 6, 1913, in Foss, Okla.
He was a retired auto mechanic and a mason for 50 years.
He was the widow of Ruth Whittenberg.
Graveside service was 10 a.m. Saturday at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
He is survived by two sons, Donald Whittenberg of Claremore, Okla., and David Whittenberg of Richmond, Texas; a sister, Cona Armstrong of Columbus, Ind.; a brother, Monty Whittenberg of Canute, Okla.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
