Virgil Lloyd Wiggins, 94 of Fort Smith, AR died Wednesday, August, 11, 2010 in Fort Smith.
He was born on March 6, 1916 in Paris, AR.

He was the former owner of Wiggins Hardware in Van Buren and a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith where he was a deacon.

A Memorial Service was held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, Private Family Committal and Interment was at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Enah Maye of the home; one daughter, Becky Freeman of Tulsa; one son, Lloyd Dean Wiggins of Fort Smith; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Payne, Tom and Bill Wiggins, Paul Freeman and Jim Thornton.

Enah Maye Wiggins entered her heavenly home on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Enah Maye was born on April 13, 1918, to Tina A. and Rev. M. E. Wiles in Izard County, AR.

She graduated high school in Mineral Springs and entered Central College in Conway. During this time, her family moved to Paris, AR where she married Virgil Wiggins on September 26, 1936. Together they raised one son, Dean and one daughter, Becky.

Enah Maye will be remembered for her keen sense of style and keen sense of humor. She kept both until the very end. She loved entertaining and celebrated every holiday and birthday with fanfare, fun, and tables of delicious food. She led Adult Sunday School departments with zeal.
Enah Maye owned and operated Mode O' Day Dress Shops in Fort Smith and Van Buren, producing award-winning sales until her retirement in 1985.
In 2012, two years after Virgil's death, Enah Maye moved to Tulsa, OK to live with her daughter and son-in-law. Most recently, Enah Maye has lived at Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa, where she has thrived due to exceptional care.

Enah Maye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil, and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Wiggins.

She leaves behind: son, Dean of Fort Smith, daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Paul Freeman of Tulsa, OK. She was "Nana" to four grandchildren: Edye Thornton and husband, Jim, Navarre Beach, FL, David Wiggins and wife, Angela, Fort Smith, Steve Wiggins and wife, Misti, Memphis, TN, and Jill Freeman, Brooklyn, NY. She was blessed with nine great-grandchildren and a much-anticipated great-great granddaughter. In the words of Psalm 23, "Surely goodness and mercy followed her all the days of her life, and she will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

The family will visit with friends on Tuesday at 5:30-7:00 pm, at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Her life will be celebrated with a Memorial Service on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Edwards Funeral Home.
