March 7, 1928 - January 10, 2021
Betty Jo Wery, 92 of Fort Smith, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
She was born on March 7, 1928 in Fort Smith to the late John and Hazel Bonds.
Betty was a retired teacher for Hobson Pre-School. She was a lifetime member of Central Presbyterian Church and was also a member of the St. Edward Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Wery a brother, John Bonds and a sister-in-law, Mary Noel Bonds.
There will be a private family graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery, arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Sally Tabor and her husband Ronnie, of Fort Smith; a son, Rick Wery and his wife Gayla, of Vancleave, MS; two grandchildren, Heather Poole and her husband Jeff, of Gulf Shores, AL and Eric Tabor and his wife Yvette, of Coweta, OK; three great grandchildren, Jaden Poole, Kieren and Gage Tabor.
