Amanda Leigh Thomas Wells, age 23 of Silverdale, Washington formerly of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007 in Washington. She was an Office Clerk. She volunteered with the Girl Scouts as a camp counselor. She graduated from Van Buren High School in 2002 where she played the flute in the band, Drama, and was the Mascot "Pugsley". She was also the Mascot at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith in 2003.
She is survived by her husband Chris Wells of Silverdale, Washington; her parents Larry & Mara Thomas; two sisters Candace Pottle of Frisco, Texas and Nicole Champlin of Houston, Texas; a brother Larry Thomas, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandparents W.R. Douglas and JoElla of Ft. Smith and great grandparents Robert L. Brown & Ella Mae.
