Robert H. Wells, Sr., 93, of Fort Smith, died September 30, 2014 in Fort Smith.
He was born February 6, 1921 in Peter Pender, Arkansas to Fredrick E. and Samantha Elizabeth Hamm Wells.

He was retired owner of Midwest Upholstery Supply, former member of the Girl's Shelter of Fort Smith `Board, the National Association of Decorative Fabric Distributors, a member of the Nixon Cemetery Board of Directors, and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and recently was one of the veterans who took the Honor Flight to Washington DC.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Wells of Fort Smith; two daughters, Mary and husband Michael Watts of Fort Smith and Stacy Wells of Bedford, TX; two sons, Gordon and wife Phyllis Wells of Marion, AR and Robert Wells, Jr and wife LeAnn of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren, Gina Hatmaker, Scott Ogden, Rob Wells, III, Hannah Wells, Rachel Wells, and Katie Wells; and two great grandchildren, Brittany and Alex Hatmaker.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:30 PM in the Grand Avenue Baptist Church with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Chastain, Ronnie Wells, Karl Wells, Wiley Snaders, David Payne, Phil Green, Terry Wilson, and Bill Hansen.

Carol Wells, 90, passed away May 2, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born December 19, 1932 in Sallisaw, OK to Frank Green and Irene (Bradley) Green.

Carol graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1950, and she received her Bachelors Degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
Carol was always active in her children's activities, and she was past President of PTA. She also enjoyed bowling in her younger years. Carol was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, and she enjoyed shopping, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Wells.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary and husband Michael Watts of Fort Smith, and Stacy Wells of Bedford, TX; two sons, Gordon and wife Phyllis Wells of Marion, AR, and Robert Wells Jr. and wife LeAnn of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren, Gina Hatmaker, Scott Ogden, Robert Wells III and wife Samantha Allan, Hannah Wells, Rachel Wells and fiancé Robert Skolik, and Katie Wells; and two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Alex Hatmaker.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
