Iva Laverne (Bernie) Tippit of Cedarville, entered into rest August 28, 2011 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Bernie was born August 21, 1933 at Vesta, Arkansas.
Bernie was a wife, mother and member of Community Freewill Baptist Church, Pocola, Oklahoma and was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Wilson McGee.
Bernie is survived by her husband Jimmie L. Tippit, son, Greg Bushong, a sister, Lucille Craft and her husband Tom Craft, Sr, three nephews, Dr. Charles Craft of Fort Smith, Thomas L. Craft Jr., and wife Amy of Cedarville and Richard Craft and wife Cheryl of Alma and several great and great great nephews and nieces.
Graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Carl Cheshier and Reverend Bob Shelton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Richard Craft, Dr Charles Craft, Thomas L. Craft Jr., Tommy Wayne Craft, Teddy Craft, Steven Craft and Jason Carter.
