Wife of Jesse Lawrence "Wimpy" Sr
Freda (Mahramus)Tays-Rowe of Fort Smith (Sebastian County), Arkansas, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Peachtree Palliative Care Unit in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was 82 years old.
Ms. Rowe was the past owner and operator of Fort Smith Industrial Cleaners. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Ms. Rowe was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Jess Tays; her second husband: Claude Rowe; and a daughter: Nancy Keathley.
She is survived by a daughter: Patricia Ragsdale; a son: Jess Tays Jr.; both children from Fort Smith, Arkansas; her brother: Manuel Mahramus of Titusville, Florida; 6 wonderful grandchildren; and 7 precious great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at the Ocker-Putman Chapel on Friday, June 13, 2008, at 10:30a.m.
The Rev. David Orr officiated the service. Ms. Rowe was cremated.
A private family burial was held.
