AHOLTZ, Mrs. A.K. (Brown) - (from Pleasant Valley) Mrs. A.K. Aholtz died at her home in this vicinity Friday afternoon. Burial was held in the Springtown cemetery Tuesday afternoon. The deceased has been a resident of this section for many years and was highly respected by all. Her death followed an illness covering a period of several months. Besides her husband she leaves a son, C.E. Brown of Brooklyn, N.Y. to mourn her departure. The funeral services were attended by a large number of sorrowing friends. Funeral services were under the direction of Carpenter Bros. of Gentry.

(from Springtown) Chas. Brown of New York City, and Mrs. C.D. Walker of St. Louis, were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. A.K. Aholtz. Mr. Brown is a son of Mrs. Aholtz and Mrs. Walker a sister-in-law. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the M.E. Church, Rev. Leon Henderson officiating.
