May 31, 1945 - December 8, 2003
Jerry Allen Stone, 58, of Fort Smith died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, in his home. He was born May 31, 1945, in Mud Ford, W. Va. He was a self-employed gardener and of the Mormon faith.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three daughters, Lori Spicer, Mary Brown and Jeri Thompson, all of Fort Smith; two sisters, Marylou Ward of Holden, W.Va., and Shirley McClay of California; two brothers, Odell Stone of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Calvin Stone of Holden, W.Va.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Robert Reyes, David Brown, David Byers, Bobby Barnett, Kevin Stone and Dabber.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

April 7, 1947 - July 22, 2007
Betty Zane Stone, 60, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, entered into rest on Sunday, July 22, 2007 in her home. She was born April 7, 1947 in Arkansas City, Arkansas. Betty was a former employee of Lighthouse Inn, of the non-denominational faith, a house keeper and the widow of the late Jerry Stone. Survivors include three daughters; Lori Reyes, Mary Thurman and Jeri Thompson all of Fort Smith; brother; Jack Barnett; five sisters; June Curry, Shirley and Johnny Turnage, Sheila Vanzandt and Kay Thompson; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25,2007 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, with interment at Roselawn. Pallbearers will be Dabber, Shane Byers, Cory Spicer, Gregory Spicer, Justin Thurman and Bubby Thompson. Family will receive friends, Tuesday 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
