Katheryn Georgene "Granny" Pickett, age 90, of Imboden, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning July 6, 2017 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas, Arkansas with loved ones at her side. Katheryn was born on July 30, 1926 to the late Gilbert Sanford and Clara St. Clair Sanford in Annyville***, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother, grandmother and aunt. She was very much loved and will be miss dearly.
Katheryn in preceded in death by her son Doyle Pickett, daughter Donna Callahan, Connie Margaret Pickett, Patty Sue Pickett, Harold Sanford, Jackie Madison, Lucille Fooks, Judy Goff, one great-grandchild and one great great-grandchild.
Katheryn is survived by her daughters Darlene (husband Gene) Dearen of Imboden, Arkansas, Linda (husband Bill) Nixon of West Plains, Missouri, sons Phillip (wife Angie) Pickett of Highland, Arkansas, Kenneth Pickett of Conway, Arkansas, seventeen grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Sunday July 9, 2017 beginning at 2PM in the Wortham Funeral Home Oak Hill Chapel located in Highland, Arkansas, followed by a service beginning at 3PM. Interment will be located at Hope Cemetery in Imboden, Arkansas.
