Melanie Richmond Smith, 54, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was a former receptionist for the Press Argus Courier, a 1977 graduate of Van Buren High School and she was a member of Van Buren First Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Smith of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Tammy Richmond of Alma.

Pallbearers will be Timothy, Ty and Tony Smith, Sr., Ed Auprey, Thomas Cunningham and Tim Raynoha.
