Leon Sheppard, 74, of Fort Smith, AR passed away Monday, November 2, 2009. He was born November 26, 1934 in Magazine, AR to William H. and Mattie L. Sheppard.
He was retired Truck Driver from Mead Containers and owner of Home Billard Sales. He was a member of Massard Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral service were at Massard Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Pevehouse officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Corinne, one son David Sheppard and wife Becky of Fort Smith, AR, two grandchildren Bryan and Jessica Sheppard and one step grandson Terry Efurd.
Pallbearers were Larry Ed Parsons, Frank Parsons, Larry Cook, Jim Newman, Pete Newman and Byron Whitson. Honorary pallbearers were Riley Bumgardner, J. C. Cartwright, Ernie Rice, Jerry Sutton, Darvin Longley, Clarke Smith, Jack Moffett, Dong Nguyen and Danny Maestri.

March 11, 1936 - August 19, 2016
Corinne Sheppard, 80, of Fort Smith passed away Aug. 19, 2016.
She was a homemaker and member of Massard Missionary Baptist Church. She was so proud of her family, and was known as “a mom to many,” to those outside of her family. She loved to work in her yard and spend time tending to her garden.
She is survived by her son, David of Fort Smith; and her grandchildren, Bryan and Jessica Sheppard of Fort Smith. She also had two sisters, Verna Whitson of Bonanza and Doris Beschoner of Fort Smith; and one brother, Winford Parsons of Bonanza.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Massard Missionary Baptist Church with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, directed by Fentress Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Leonard, Jerry Horne, Larry Parsons, Albert Parsons, Donald Joe Harper and Charlie Sales. and one brother, Winford Parsons of Bonanza.
