Cora Lee Shaffer, 92, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Friday, December 3, 2010 at Pointer Trail Health & Rehabilitation in Van Buren.

She was a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey C. Shaffer; a daughter, Brenda Peeler; two brothers Charlie and Shannon Townley.

Funeral service was 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 6, 2010 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Bonewell and her husband David of Van Buren; two sons, Jim Shaffer and his wife Vicki of Van Buren and Jerry Shaffer and his wife Brenda of Bloomer, AR; six grandchildren, Staci Jane Guthrie and her husband Eric, James Mark Shaffer, Sean Bonewell and his wife Angela, Shane Bonewell and his wife Michele, Jerrod Shaffer and his wife Yulia, Jason Shaffer and his wife DeAnna; three great-grandchildren, Shaffer Bonewell, Grant Guthrie and Wolffe Bonewell.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Mark Shaffer, Sean Bonewell, Shane Bonewell, Jason Shaffer, Jerrod Shaffer and Shaffer Bonewell.
