Dallas Carter Sharp Jr. 86, of Lavaca born on February 14, 1932 to the late Dallas Carter Sharp Sr. and Grace (Lloyd) Sharp.
He entered into rest on November 12, 2018.

He was a Veteran in the Army, a member of First Baptist Church in Lavaca Ar. He was a Retired Fire Chief in Ft. Chaffee Ar. and an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jan Sharp, Parents, two brothers Charlie and Andrew Sharp, three sisters, Ella Grace, Vedela Sharp and Leona Helton.

He is survived by two children, Thomas Sharp of Lavaca and David and Shari Sharp of Lavaca. Sister Leth and Don Quave of Springfield, La and Ethel and Harry McDonald of Springfield, La. Along with six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steve Ray, Jim Bean, Dewayne Glidewell, Arnold Sexton, Villy Marten and Don Qualls.

Visitation will be held Wednesday November 14 from 5:30-7:00PM. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Thursday November 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Lavaca with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.

Janice Sue Sharp was born on April 23, 1949 in Fort Smith, AR.
She went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2014 surrounded by family and friends.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Lavaca where she taught a ladies Sunday School Class and was a faithful Christian. Jan spent her life spreading the word of her Lord. She will be missed by all.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents Lolis and Betty Gibson and a son Bret Murry.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Dallas Sharp of the home, two sons Matt Murry and wife Jennifer of Lavaca and Scott Murry and wife Melissa of Charleston, one sister Glenda Bauman and husband Johnny of Fort Smith, one niece Kristen Marvin and husband Lance of Fayetteville, one nephew John Andrew Bauman and wife Jacqueline of Elkins, seven grandchildren, Caylie, Summer, Ashley, Kaden, Shyla Murry, Abbie Roberts and Aaliyah Hamilton and two great nieces Alexis and Sara Ruth Marvin.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at First Baptist Church Lavaca with interment at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at First Baptist Church Lavaca. Viewing will start at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR.

Pallbearers will be Don Owen, Kenneth Smithson, Anthony Taylor, Ronnie Schoeppey, Joe Salyers, Dewayne Glidewell, Dusty Smithson and Scott Murry.
