Lola Frances McKamie Jones, age 98, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on July 11, 2023, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mrs. Jones was born on March 30, 1925 in Mount Ida, Arkansas to her parents Sam and Nettie Bell Handshew McKamie. She loved singing hymns, gardening, and working in her flowerbeds. Frances was also of Baptist faith, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed going to yard sales.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Jones; one son, Jerry Jones; brothers, Bill, Troy, Harlan, J.D. Dub, Haskell, Ralph; sisters, Thelma, Gladis, and Olliewees.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Judy Chapman of Texarkana, Arkansas, Joyce Girod of Texarkana, Arkansas; brother, Bobby C. McKamie; daughter-in-law, Jean Jones, Texarkana, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Crystal Cornell of Henderson, Nevada, Teresa Collins of Spring Hill, Arkansas, Stacy Rosenbaum of Shover Springs, Arkansas, Sean McKamie of Texarkana, Arkansas, Sam Mckamie of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jeffery Jones of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ginger Rogers of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jamie Jones of Hope, Arkansas; ten great-grandchildren, Jessica Hutchins of Henderson, Nevada, Jacob McKamie of Red Water, Texas, Joseph McKamie of Texarkana, Arkansas, Sonny McKamie of Red Water, Texas, Cody Hobson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Chance Allen of Texarkana, Arkansas, Alexis Duenas of Spring Hill, Arkansas, Ben Jones of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ella Jones of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Rush James of Jonesboro, Arkansas; seven great-great grandchildren, Emmy, Dexter, Cade, Lillian, Nyomie, Ivy, and Jasper; along with many others.

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home, Hope.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home, Hope. Burial will follow at Water Creek Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
