Pearl Lee West passed into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 being reunited with her parents and her husband of 57 years, Charles Tilden (Jack) West. She was the first of the nine children of Arol and Muriel Mahar of Natural Steps, Arkansas, being born on October 28, 1938.
Pearl and Jack were blessed with the birth of three children, Janet Irene Brady (Kenneth), Charles Tilden West Jr. (Jackie), and Mark Edward West. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Genger Brady, Jessica Hudson, Charles West III, Jeremy Brady, Joshua West, Casey Siegel, Bradley West, Matthew West, Jacob West and Dillion West as well as nine great-grandchildren. Pearl was very close to her six sisters, Mary Hatfield, Elizabeth (Ray) Wilson, Geneva (Vernon) Crow, Sharon (Ted) Shaw, Martha (James) Guenther, and Linda (Paul) Martin, as well as her two brothers, Larry (Jeannie) Mahar and Wayne Mahar.
Family and friends will meet at the Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home for visitation on Friday 1:00-2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service starting at 2:00 and this will conclude with remembrances to be shared by Pearl's immediate family. Interment will take place at Natural Steps Cemetery following the service.
