February 10, 1936 - July 20, 2014
Eva Mae Radley, 78, of Fort Smith, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 20, in a Fort Smith hospital.
She was born on February 10, 1936 in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Bertha Massengale, her brothers, Leonard, William, and Tommy Lee, and her son Warren Webb.
She is survived by her sisters, Jewel Rasey of Rogers, Arkansas and Bonnie Henson of Fort Smith, her children James Webb of Fort Smith, Joyce Dean, and husband Jack, of Van Buren, and Gary, and wife Mary, of Hartford, Arkansas, and daughter-in-law Roberta Webb, of the home, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and her longtime friends, Christine Burns and Linda McCaslin.
Eva was a homemaker and worked as a CNA at Sparks Hospital for 20 years. She served as a volunteer for Peachtree Hospice, for which she received Governor Mike Huckabee's Volunteer Excellence Award.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 22, from 5 -7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 North 12th Street, in Fort Smith. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00p.m., also at Edwards Funeral Home.
Grandsons Harold Dean, James Dean, Dale Radley, James Radley, and James Yarbrough and nephew Shawn Henson will serve as pall bearers. Grandson Jason Webb and nephew Doug Massengale will serve as honorary pall bearers.
