May 24, 1884 - July 16, 1952
Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Lou Railey, 68, Kansas City, MO and formerly of Fort Smith will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fentress Mortuary chapel. Rev. J. Harold Smith, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at the Rose Lawn cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Vera Lois Dolt, of the home, Mrs. Katherine B. Tilford, Stockton, Kansas, and Mrs. (Esther) Esta Mae Carter, Ardmore, Oklahoma; four sons C.A. and Robert Lee; both of Fort Smith, James A. Hines III and Charles Eugene, San Angelo, Texas; two sister, Mrs. Ella Mae Kirby, Kansas City, MO and Mrs. Irene Woolsey, Carlisle, Ar; two brothers, Charles F. King, Little Rock, Ar and Oscar T. King, Carlisle, Ar; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
"I Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone" and "Only Glory By & By" were played at her funeral service.

Jennie Lou King was the daughter of Charles King and Elizabeth Ann Benge. She married Edward Alexander Railey on July 29, 1903.
