September 2, 1905 - August 1987
Leota B. Reed, 81, of Fort Smith, died Thursday in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in the First Christian Church under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Gene Paul Reed of Alma; a sister, Oletha Barnard of Tulsa; a brother, Charles F. Barnard of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chuck and David McCune, Jeff Strassle, Brad Kidder, LeRoy McKee, Richard Griffin, Gary Dooley and J. Stanley Putman. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church. Southwest Times Record, Fort Smith, Ark., Sunday, August 30, 1987
