Lois Janice “Jan” Virden, 76, of Hampton, AR, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, in Little Rock, AR. She was born January 12, 1947, in Huntsville, AL to Walter F. and Bama L. Hamilton Kriehn. She was retired from Camden Wal-Mart and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. Virden, Sr.; daughter, Kami Virden; two brothers, Walter Kriehn, Jr., and Charles Kriehn.
She is survived by one son, James Virden, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Hampton, AR; one daughter, Kristi Alvarez of Hampton, AR; one sister, Genevieve Beck and husband, Ed of Rison, AR; four grandchildren, Janna Alvarez-Scott and husband, Dakota of Hermitage, AR, De Laney Virden and fiancée, Zach Bailey of Hampton, AR, Tanner Virden of Hampton, AR and Chandler Alvarez of Hampton, AR; host of family and friends.
A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 11:00AM at Pickett Cemetery in Calhoun County.
