Annette Parnell Alford age 84, of New Edinburg, AR. died Thursday, December 31st 2009 in Little Rock. She was born January 19th, 1925 in New Edinburg, AR. a daughter of the late Roy Parnell and Evie Johnson Parnell. She was a housewife and homemaker, a member of the Emmaus Baptist Church and the widow of Ralph Alford who died May 1 1998.
She is survived by a son, Gary Alford, New Edinburg, AR.; a daughter Donna Szentranyi, De-Berry, TX.; A sister Louise Roark, FT. Smith, AR. 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 3:30PM Sunday, January 3rd at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Glenn Alston and Rev. Tony Rinehart officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist were Tony Rinehart and Donna Gates. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Marty Alford, Ronnie Mack Bryant, Daryl Rogers, Brian Rogers, Michael Webb and Rusty Bryant. Honorary pallbearer was Randall Rogers.
