Betty Jean Napier, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away March 4, 2017 from Alzheimer's.
She was born May 2, 1934 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
She was a retired teacher of the Fort Smith Public Schools, a member of Grand Ave Baptist Church, Fort Smith Classroom Teachers Association, Arkansas Education Association, National Education Association, a volunteer of the Fort Smith Historic Sight, Boy Scouts of America Leader and she received My Favorite Teacher Award.
She was the widow of the late Bill Napier.
She is survived by one daughter Nancy Looper of Greenwood, one son Steve Napier of Fort Smith, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2016 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith, Arkansas with Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Napier, Travis Hester, Aaron Jones, Rick Mott and Warren Looper.
