Ruth Frances Mullen, 98, of Noble, IL died at 6:25 AM Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Flora Rehab & Health Care Center in Flora, IL.
She was born September 13, 1911 in Havana, AR to Charles E. & Willie (Vinsett) Wilkins. She married Jack Willard Mullen on September 21, 1935 in Riley, AR. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1978.
She was a homemaker, a member of Ingraham Christian Church, and she loved her church work and enjoyed quilting and sewing. S
he is survived by her daughter: Patty Junkins of Noble; 2 grandsons: Jay Sheffield & wife Kathleen of Libby, MT and Mark Sheffield & wife Suzie of Madison, MS; and 3 great-grandchildren: Michael, Hunter and Allison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother (Charles Edward Wilkins), and 1 sister (Oda Corbin).
A graveside service will be held at 9 AM Tuesday (June 1, 2010) at Rose Lawn Holy Cross Cemetery in Ft. Smith, AR. There is no visitation. Frank & Bright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
