December 13, 1893 - October 30, 1967
Ellis O. McFarland, Sr. 73 years old, of 4619 North M. Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Monday morning, October 30, 1967 following a long illness. Mr. McFarland was a member of Southside Baptist church, Woodmen of the World, Amrita Grotto, Consistory, York Rite, Amaranth and Masonic Lodge.
Survivors were a daughter, Floy, of Fort Smith; a son Roy of Fort Smith; two brothers, Jim of Eagleton, Oklalhoma and Eugene of New Mexico; two sisters, Elanor and Velma both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Putman Funeral Home chapel with Marvin Gennings, the officiating minister. Burial was in Roselawn cemetery.

She is the daughter of Bib Harrison & Nannie Edwards.
