November 9, 1924 - August 18, 2005
Charlie E. McGee, 80, of Fort Smith entered into rest Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, in his home. He was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Fort Smith, the son of the late Jake and Oda Bell McGee. Charlie was a former co-owner of Electrical Sales and Service, a Navy World War II veteran, a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith and a member of Arkansas Angus Association. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Willie of the home; son and daughter-in-law, David and Delaina McGee of Lavaca; sister, Doris Ford of Fort Smith and his three precious jewels, Leeann, Leslie and Jill McGee. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be Steve Hamilton, Rick Taylor, Massie Silva, Quinten Brown, Dennis Chronister and Jeff Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Dabbs, Everett O'Neal, Junior Lewis, Paul Tucker, David McMahon Sr. and Darrell Shelton. Memorials may be sent to Arkansas Junior Angus Association, 1707 Nixon, Lavaca, AR 72941; or Lavaca FFA, P.O. Box 8, Lavaca, AR 72941; or Sebastian County 4H Foundation, P.O. Willie
January 26, 1923 - November 8, 2015
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Verna Hill, husband Charles McGee, sister Grace Anderson, brothers Hoarse and Eulon Hill and great-grandson Maddyn Kyler Teague.
She is survived by one son, one daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and their spouses, five great-grandchildren, two sisters.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Lewis Roberts Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
