W. Rea Loux, 89, of Fort Smith passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2006. She was born March 5, 1916, in Cecil to Roscoe C. and Elizabeth Bumpers. She was an active member of Goddard United Methodist Church where she worked in the nursery for 40 years, and she was a life member of the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff M. Loux. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Wyers officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by one son, Larry D. Loux and wife Judy of Fort Smith; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her special care givers, Melissa Cummins, Margie Whitfield, Gayle McKeown and Dianna Brown. Pallbearers will be Larry Medlock, Tom McAlister, Jerry Eubanks, Tom Godwin, Carl Allison and Mike Lyons.
