August 8, 1914 - March 23, 2002
Pauline Lemon, 87, of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 23, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was a cook for the Fort Smith Public School System and a member of Midland Heights United Methodist Church. She was the widow of George Lemon. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith. She is survived by a daughter, Ida Mae Grube of Brenham, Texas; two sisters, Frances Baskin of Clarksville and Rebecca Cox of Fort Smith; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steve Gonzales, Jon and Jim Cox, Rick and Randy Barnett and David Hicks. The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Heights United Methodist Church, 3500 N. Sixth St., Fort Smith, AR 72904.
