Raymond Eugene Lear, 83, entered into rest August 8, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was born July 12, 1933 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Ray and Dellie Lear.

He was a Carpenter, Member of the Northside United Pentecostal Church and a former Trustee.

He was preceded in death by his precious wife, Pauline Lillian Lear, his parents and 6 sisters; Mrs. Charles Jasper (Sybil Aline) Wareham, Mrs. Ida belle Hickman, Mrs. Mary (Reese) Louise McMahan, Mrs. Verna Delilah Roam, Mrs. Helen Nipper and Ms. Virginia (Big Jen) Lear.

He is survived by his pride and joy, only child & beloved daughter, Rita P. Lear of Van Buren, Arkansas, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and a host of beloved friends.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Northside United Pentecostal Church 3700 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith, Arkansas with Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Turner, Brandon Champion, Lee Bolton, Jim Bruso, Bill Myers Sr. and Billy Myers Jr.

Pauline Lillian Lear, 89, of Van Buren died Dec. 30, 2010, in Van Buren. She was born July 14, 1921, in Mena to William Oscar and Eltus Lydia McGee Lackey. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Eugene Lear of Van Buren; a daughter, Rita Lear of Van Buren; a sister, Juanita Moore of Van Buren; and a brother, Vernon Lackey of Vicksburg, Miss.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Cleo Ziewitz; and brothers, Cecil, Ewell, Jessie, Chester and Dee Lackey.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Northside United Pentecostal Church with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Lee Bolton, Ralph Myers, Jimmy Bruso, Brandon Champion, Billy Turner and Billy Myers.
