Evelyn (Claudia Marie) Huff, 83, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at her home in Roland, OK. Evelyn was born September 6, 1927 in Waldron, AR to Emma Leta Cleaver and Otis Ammons.

She was one of God's most caring, compassionate, and loving mothers and sisters that anyone could ever have. Her sense of humor, twinkling smile and contagious laughter brightened so many moments of the lives of those who knew and loved her. During her life she has had many friends, but during the latter years no one could have asked for a more faithful and considerate friend than her neighbor Lois Wallis of Roland, Oklahoma. The family is truly thankful for all she did to assist Evelyn in so many, many ways.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Emma and Otis Ammons; her husband Emmitt Huff; her son, Jerry Don Barker; her daughter, Judy Marie Barker Dillinger; two brothers, Jay Ammons and Robert Lafayette Ammons; and sister, Faye Lavoyne Ammons Craig.

Evelyn is survived by her son Jackie B Barker and wife Nicolee of Central Point, OR; her sister Marcene Blatt of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Michael McDaniel and wife Bonnie of Lancaster, CA, John Allen Dillinger and wife Erica of Fort Smith, AR and Jacqueline Margaret Arnold and husband Ricky of Fayetteville, AR; five great grandchildren, Michael McDaniel Jr., Matthew John McDaniel, Makayla Marie McDaniel all of Lancaster, CA, John Allen Dillinger and Lincoln North Dillinger both of Fort Smith, AR; one great-great grandchild, Hudson McDaniel of Lancaster, CA; nine nieces, Shannon Blatt, Rhonda Russell, Renee Cupit, Janice Watkins, Denise McKaughan, Wannette Travis, Beverly Wall, Roxanne Williams and Staci Barrett; and two nephews, Mark Lowry and Bob Ammons.
