BERRY, Mary Hinman - Mary Hinman Berry passed away late Friday afternoon at the age of 71 years. She was born in Germany in 1857, her mother dying at her birth, and came to this country when about 12 years of age with her father and stepmother. Her father died four years later. She grew up in the east, coming west later. Mrs. Berry came to Bentonville about 25 years ago and was employed in many different homes in town during her residence here. She owned her own little home in the northeast part of town and lived there till ill health came and had been making her home with Mr. and Mrs. A. Hulbrok for the last year or more. They have been tenderly caring for her. Mrs. Berry was a great sufferer and she has been bed-ridden the past year. Death came as a great relief for her and she was ready to go. She professed faith in Christ when a young woman and had ever lived a Christian life. Funeral services were held for her at the Hulbrok home Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. A.W. Henderson officiating. Burial was made in the City Cemetery.
