June 18, 1921 - September 16, 2013
Jessie Solomon Hendricks, 92 of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013.
She was born June 18, 1921 in Ione, AR to the late Aud and Dillie Hightower.
She was of the Assembly of God faith and retired Manager/Treasurer from Sebastian Federal Employees Credit Union. She was the 1965 "Woman of the Year" of the American Business Women's Association. She was a loving mother and grandmother and an avid sports enthusiast, especially tennis and football.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Hendricks and her son Joe Paul Solomon.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 20, 2013 at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Becky Pfeifer and her husband Lee of Fort Smith, her sister, Audra Prezioso of Oklahoma City, two grandchildren: Grant Solomon and Kara Solomon, three great grandchildren: Rileigh, Elijah and Bailee Solomon; niece, Laura Hamilton, and two nephews Bob Hamilton and James Reddick.
Pallbearers will be Sonny White, Grant Solomon, Greg Clayton, Sean Rollans, Tim Chilcott, and Lee Pfeifer.
