July 23, 1884 - February 3, 1966
Mrs. Stella Enis Norris, 81, of Junction City, died about noon Thursday. Born July 23, 1884 in Weldon, La., she was the daughter of W. R. and Helen Harrell Enis. Survivors include her husband, O. G. Norris of Junction City; two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Koonce of Jonesborough, La., and Mrs. Ray E. Galbraith of Junction City; a son, Jimmy Norris of Alexandria, La.; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Junction City First Baptist Church of which she was a member. Rev. A. W. Smart and Louis I. Wilkins officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Graden Cates, J.C. Mayfield, John Thurman and R. L. Bolen. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Men's Bible Class of the First Baptist Church. (The El Dorado Times - February 4, 1966)
