Joe Allen Osborn, 95, of El Dorado, AR passed away Monday, February 7, 2020 at Timberlane Health and Rehab.

Joe was born June 25, 1926 in Star City, AR to William P. Osborn and Bessie Rolman Osborn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Nickey Detraz, five brothers and two sisters.

Joe was a retired heavy equipment operator and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WWII. He was a loving and devoted husband for 78 years. Joe loved the outdoors, gardening, his family and his fur baby, “Old Man”. Joe will be remembered as a big jokester.

Survivors include his wife of 78 years, Maxine Brantley Osborn, two daughters, Martha McCurry, and Becky Newton and husband Tommy, two sons, James “Smokey” Osborn and wife, Edna, and Ricky Osborn and wife, Linda, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carly Davis officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Lifetouch Hospice.
