Ruby Lee Lephiew, 91 of Bella Vista, AR and formerly of El Dorado, AR passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at her residence.
Born May 9, 1924, in Lincoln County, Arkansas she was the daughter of Willie Plez and Bessie Lee Rollman Osborn. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and was very talented musically. She was a member of RSVP.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband Marl Vernon Lephiew, a daughter, Mary Lee Thomas, two sons, George Wells, Jr. and James Wells, Sr., brothers, Thurman Milks, Ernest Osborn, Sr., Mac Osborn, Marvin Osborn, Robert Osborn and Willie P. Osborn, Jr., along with sisters, Goldie Milks, Roslyn Cummings, a granddaughter, Kathy Ashcroft and a great-granddaughter, Faith Anne Wells.
Survivors include a brother, Joe Allen Osborn of El Dorado, AR, grandchildren, Martha Digby of Bella Vista, AR, Donna Finney of Rogers, AR, Jackie Wells of Elk Grove, CA, James Wells, Jr. of Corona, CA, Jamie Beshr of Yemen, Joseph Lephiew of Moon Valley Canyon, AZ, Renee Lephiew and Jay Lephiew both of El Dorado, AR. Also surviving are 21 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2015, in Young's Chapel with Rev. Joseph Lephiew and Rev. Nathan Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday evening.
