November 13, 1907 - July 7, 2000

Anson G. Gregory, 92, of Fort Smith died Friday, July 7, 2000, in Fort Smith.
He was born in Texas to Horatio E. Gregory and Dora Bell Norwood.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a retired school teacher for the Van Buren Public School System after 16 years of service as a science teacher.

Graveside service was at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

He is survived by one sister, Esther Lock of Stuttgart.

July 24, 1908 - November 27, 1963

Mrs. Lois Chetyne Gregory, 55 years old of 4015 Morris Drive, Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Monday, November 27, 1963 at a local hospital after a long illness. She had been a teacher since 1929 and was a teacher at Darby Junior High school when she was taken ill. She had been a resident of Fort Smith since 1947 and was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Survivors are her husband Anson Gregory, a teacher in the Van Buren Public Schools; one brother, Harry Cheyne Jr. of Fort Smith; one sister, Mrs. Floy Lewis of Fort Smith; one niece and one nephew.

Funeral service was held Friday at 3:30 o'clock at Edwards chapel with Fred G. Roebuck, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial was at Roselawn cemetery.
