Betty L Gattis, 83, of Van Buren, died Monday, February 4, 2013 in Van Buren.
She was born August 8, 1929 in Fort Smith to the late John Sr and Zinna Donaldson Cagle.
She was a retired computer lab tutor for the Fort Smith school district, a member of Trinity Baptist Church, was active in the PTA and the Teachers Retirement Organization.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Davis and her husband George of Van Buren; three sons, Larry Gattis and his wife Beatle of Van Buren, Danny Gattis and his wife Vermetta of Van Buren and Billy Gattis of Fort Smith; a sister, Pat Towery of Warner, OK; a brother, John Cagle Jr of Texas; nine grandchildren, Darrell, Brian and Brayley Gattis, Tracy Mosby, Brandy Darr, Stacy Martin, Carlee, Haley and Brandon Davis and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl 'Sonny' Gattis.
Graveside services will be10:00AM, Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
