Onia Mae Wilburn, 87 of Walnut Ridge, died July 28, 2023, in the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
Born July 22, 1936, in the Gilespur community, daughter of the late Charles and Annie Rue Heard. She was united in marriage to Lester Wilburn on May 19, 1958. Onia was a homemaker, enjoyed art and coloring, and riding her three wheeled bicycle all over town with her sisters.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester; daughter, Peggy Colley; two sons, Billy and Jimmy Wilburn; a brother, Billy Heard; and three sisters, Pauline Chappel, Charlene Nelson, and Lois Meeker.
Survivors include her three sons, Doug (Norma), David (Pasha), and Johnny (Sandra); son-in-law, Rickey Colley; two daughters-in-law, Debra and Martha Wilburn; seven grandchildren, Scott, Wayne, Andy, Randy, Brandie, Marty, and Robin; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many many other family and friends.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 10 A.M. in the Whittaker Cemetery with Bryan Butts officiating. Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 P.M. till 7 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations to help with the funeral expense.
