January 30, 1928 - October 20, 2005
William J. Gibson, 77, of Fort Smith entered into rest Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Peoria, Ill., the son of the late William and Mary Gibson. William was a retired employee of Hiram Walker, a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by one son, William Jay Gibson, and granddaughter, Julieanna Gibson. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Russell and Rachelle Gibson of Fort Smith, and seven grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Smith. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Lewis Funeral Chapel.
