FAYETTEVILLE - Dorothy Lorraine Saxton, 99, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at her home.
She was born Sept. 7, 1919, in McGregor, Texas, to Dee and Essie Bradshaw Spradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris B. Saxton; one brother; and three sisters. Dorothy retired from Campbell Bell.
She is survived by two daughters, Loraine Elder of Houston, Texas, and Bobbye Sexson and husband, Jim of Fayetteville; a brother, Bryant Spradley and wife, Dinah of Palestine, Texas; Five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at Beard's Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Elkins with Pastor Rex Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Hester Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview St., Fayetteville, Ark., 72703. Condolences at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
